I have not considered your efforts seriously enough at that time, I shall admit. Now I realize that your work was really important" - a former Board Member has said to an HR Manager.
There are many reasons you and your contribution shall be admired, appreciated and respected by others. Take a look at the three I have selected.
You were born to feel and sense the deepest needs of yourself and other people. Thanks to that quality You are able to help others understand themselves. You often notice their talents, strengths and growth opportunities.
Your have a big experience in talking with people. There are probably few people in the organization that has spent so many hours listening to others.
"Thank you for your sensitivity. I was not aware about that part of me. You have helped me uncover something very important" - a specialists has said.
Your experience and your personal passion to help others grow are big assets to any organization. Your role in the organization is crucial. Managers and employees sometimes need more time to realize it and to admit it.
Helping others succeed.
Helping leaders and employees grow requires often decisions which do not bring imediate results. Your peers will appreciate it years from now - some of them for sure.
Your desire to help others is unique. Your organization would not achieve long-term results without your constant efforts to improve human aspects, like culture and leadership.
